TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
