TabTrade Overview - A Look at This New CFD Broker
TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
